This is my friend Coleman Weeks. He has hepatitis C and chronic back pain issues. Social Security Disability is playing games with this mans life. He needs your support..Read and share.. Thank you!
For today I will skip the video and share some photographs.
This was taken in June, 2010. I was pretty tired, but obviously I had an appetite. A few months earlier I left my job because I was exhausted and needed a vacation my employer could not provide even though I was past due for my yearly. I was really tired and figured I would start part-time at an electronics retailor, heck I had managed a retail operation for two years and was the customer service champ.
As the year passed I started to feel like crap and I was still fatigued, I knew something was wrong, seriously wrong and went to Social Security. In 2000 I was approved for disability, but chose to get a G.E.D. and attempt to find a…

If you’re thinking about using a publishing house to publish your book you might want to read this first..
The self-publishing industry has become one of the fastest growing industries of the century. According to R. R. Bowker, the self-publishing industry has grown 287% since 2006, with close to 150,000 self-published books released in 2011, an astounding 43% of all new books released.
Unfortunately, this self-publishing growth spurt has also created a haven for scam artists to take advantage of aspiring authors—authors who have decided to self-publish as opposed to taking the traditional publishing route, authors who are anxious to get published and naïve about the seamier side of the industry.
You must be an informed consumer when it comes to purchasing publishing services. Here are some things to watch out for before you choose a service to help publish, promote and sell your book.
Letʾs start with some definitions.
Self-publishing has been around for a long time, but until recently, most authors looked to traditional

All writers where a thong of courage. We look for acceptance from readers. But we don’t need it.
Ten Rules About Everyone:
1. We’re all scared. The ones who say they aren’t haven’t experienced loss yet or they’re afraid of appearing weak. It’s okay to be afraid. Fear can be wise, but not so useful it should take over your life. Feel that fear and wear The Thong of Courage!, anyway.
2. We’re all frightened of being wrong or looking stupid. Worse, some graceless people are hoping to catch us making one wrong move. Worse still, at some point, we will all be caught.
What do we do next?
We snap The Thong of Courage! to remind us we are not defined by our mistakes if we learn from them. Forward! Down the Catwalk of Begin Again! Work it!
3. Everyone thinks they’re right all the time. Statistically impossible. Never happens. However, no matter what you do, someone is sure you’re wrong because you didn’t do it their way.

#16 is good enough for me but the rest are great too..
A great article every one should read. I think that this applies to everyone, no matter what their age. These are fantastic reasons for ANYONE to write a book.
You’re at the beach with some friends and/or family, enjoying the sun, nibbling on some watermelon. All of a sudden, within seconds, the weather shifts and hale starts descending form the sky. Write a post about what happens next.
Ahh a day at the beach with family and friends. The weather was a perfect eighty nine degrees with a west wind. The wives and mom’s were sitting in their beach chairs with their feet in the water as the kids played with their Dad’s in the surf around them.
The rest of the guys were standing in the water drinking spiked beverages in their cups with straws as they talked guy talk.
Lunch time. The women decided to bring the children up on the warm sand. They dried them off one by one and sat them in a row on the blankets. It’s as if they are baby birds waiting for their moms to fetch them some worms.
Each child gets their choice of either tuna or peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a cool drink. The adults decide it’s time for some more adult fruit punch. Everyone is laughing and just enjoying the perfect day.
I stick my hand in the cooler and grab the container of cut up watermelon. As I hand each child and adult male a triangle piece with a napkin the sun suddenly decides to hide behind a huge cloud.
I look at the rest of the women and say, “WTF.” The kids don’t care, they just continue eating their melon. Their content as each has the juice of the delectable fruit running down their mouth. The moms on the other hand decide it’s getting a little cool and rummage through their beach bags for cover-ups.
The guys think we are all over reacting. They give us ladies the weather report as they check their cell phones. My hubby says, “It’s just a huge cloud. You ladies need to chill out. The weather station says clear sky’s all day. Give it a few minutes and that cloud will pass.”
As the mom’s clean their children’s faces with baby wipes. We tell each other that the cell phone weather man isn’t always right. We agree that that cloud is about to break open.
Just then the wind picks up. And we each grab a child and huddle under the large umbrella.
The men are laughing at us. That’s when the sky opened up. Now it’s the ladies laughing as the men try to get under the umbrella with us. And for the next ten minutes the rain pours down all around us. Then came the golf ball sized hail that bounced off the umbrella and the sand.
People all over the were running for cover. Our men took video’s of the chaos that was happening all around us up and down the beach.
The kids were all in the safe arms of family and friends as we all huddled together under that extra large umbrella with the blankets wrapped around us all. The same umbrella that non of our men wanted to bring today.
It was fun listening and watching the kids faces. They got a kick out seeing all the people running, grabbing kids, towels and blankets. As we looked around the beach was now deserted. There were coolers, chairs, buckets and remnants of families that were just there a few minutes ago.
We were all warm, dry and making memories that would last us all a lifetime.
Then as fast as the hail wind and rain started it stopped. The dark cloud moved out to sea. The sun came back out and was shining just as brightly as it did before. It was as if nothing had happened. The beach filled up again.
We each ventured out from under that umbrella. I started to laugh as I looked at the men and said. “I bet the next time we say put the umbrella in the SUV we won’t hear a peep out of any of you.” The ladies laughed with me as the men grumbled and took the kids by the hands and headed back to the water.
All in all it was a perfect day at the beach with family and friends.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it…

A review of my book by Jas at International Book Promotions..
First and foremost, a big thanks to Annie Edmonds for giving me a copy of her book entitled “Second Chances : Sammy’s Story”. Sorry for the delay in posting the review for this amazing story.
I must say that I am not a big fan of Erotica book. Fifty Shades of Gray has spoiled it all for me as I do not fancy stories with characters like Christian Gray. If you are reading this and you loved Fifty Shades, I would say this is my personal opinion of the book.
Coming to Annie’s book, I thought Jake has to be something like the hero in Fifty Shades too but I was proven wrong! I loved the book for the way Annie weaved the characters and story. I saw love in Jake. I saw love in Sammy! I saw how Jake treats Sammy with respect and I think this is what…

If you could be a famous person for a day, who would you be? Why? I think I would be Warren Buffett or Bill Gates. From what I have seen these men are smart and have hearts. They both can do what ever they like. And yet they choose to give to the less fortunate.
If I was a monetary rich woman with unlimited funds I would be able to help so many people. Sure I would make sure in that one day that I helped my family for the rest of their lives. I’m not stupid.
